Living in Florida, it's a bit difficult to relate to the gorgeous Fall colors so I tried to capture the warmth of the holiday with this Thanksgiving invitation. I used the center step up card so that I could create a focal point with the Spelbinders die and give it a 3D effect. The amber tuille ribbon softened the look and the best embellishment , the copper metal leaf, belonged to my Dad. He passed away 20 years ago, and I am fortunate to have been able to "inherit" many of his embellishments. that he used to create with. The border tape was from Recollections (Michael's).
The brackets and "You're Invited" was from Tags Bags, Boxes & More 2....love that cart! The paper was from my favorite company DCWV Fall collection. The golds, orange and rust colors are gorgeous. It's too bad, the glittered leaf doesn't show up as well as it should! I inked the edges with my next favorite product, Quick Quotes Powder Puff "Mocha Mama" brown ink. The copper pearl dots around the die cut are from Viva Decor....LOVE them!!!!
Hope you enjoy all the cards....now, off to plan the menu for 20.
