Celebrate The Occasion-Male Birthday Party Time

PARTY TIME
This card is a VERY special creative effort on my part. The reason is that most of the embellishments on the card belonged to my Dad who passed away over 20 years ago. He was also extremely creative and used to create antique cars out of anything he could get his hands on such as wires, watches, buttons, scissors earrings etc.
I twisted & used the copper wiring for the candles, gold metal flames, metal gold circles for the balloons, green wiring from a telephone for the balloon ribbon and one of his many old watch pieces that he kept. the cake is cut from a Sizzix die and the paper is DCWV.
This was made for Celebrate The Occasion Link Up & I hope you think it's as special as I do!
Here are some of the cars HE created & the two of many drawers of "STUFF" I inherited when he passed away.

  2. This card is FANTASTIC...did I say that loud enough?? Wow, so many cool elements. The apple doesn't fall too far from the tree is an understatement here. Your dad would be so elated to see you creating the way he did. He was an excellent artist and you have inherited that from him. Thank you SO SO much for sharing!
