I hope you enjoy this Decorate To Celebrate "Anything Goes" Challenge Hop hosted by
and Rhonda @ http:/scraphappenswithrhonda.blogspot.com/
This is a fun project I am in the middle of working on for a charitable organization that is collecting clothes for children in need. I was asked to create 20 closets, 10" high, with clothes that they could use as table centerpieces for a luncheon. I probably will have to complete 40 since they have to be placed back to back on a table that seats 10 ladies.
I was asked to be a
Guest Designer for Decorate To Celebrate which you can find @
and I am so excited to share this idea that can be used in many different ways.
It might even be cute to put a small closet on a page showing a little kids room growing up or maybe fill it with shoes for a friend with a birthday gift card for a new pair of shoes. Also, a baby shower card, which I'm working on filled with cute baby clothes as part of the layette gift.
The only Cricut cartridges used were "Everyday Paper Dolls" (for the clothes, kids & hangers and "Sophisticated" for the woodgrain door frame. The rectangular drawers were just put on with the scrap paper left over from the door frame cutting. The mini wood knobs (sprayed gold) were from Michael's as well as the Acrylic "Strathmore" brand linen cardstock pad used to create a very sturdy framework. The logo and Kid's Community Closet were typed and mounted on punched out scalloped circles.
Please share in more fun by stopping by all the other talented designers to see what they have created for you.
I LOVE comments, so please share some before you hop along.
