I was very excited to give this sketch a tryespecially after I received these cute pictures of my two year old grand-daughter, Lila, who FINALLY, after lots of ....
"I want a DORA back-pack"
she got one today. Her face speaks volumes of how happy she was to finally get one even though she is not going to nursery school until January. She wants to be like her BIG sister!
I used DCWV hot pink card stock from the Mango Frost Collection. I made two different bands using the deep Martha Stewart punch woven through with wired fiber . A large scalloped punch from Sizzix was used for the outer back layer of the photo/flower and the photo of Lila was punched with the large Marvy scalloped circle. "O Happy Day" was cut from the Cricut Beyond Birthdays cartridge (pg. 95). The "DORA" letters were from the Cuttin Up cartridge (shadow). The sparkly flowers were from Michaels Spring selection of foam shapes. The two-toned orange & pink squares paper was just some odd piece that I had. I punched out the decorative squares using Martha Stewart's punch around the page. LOVE them!
