CREATE Flip Book

Can we all admit we LOVE TERESA COLLINS ?!!!! I was fortunate to have attended her class up in The Villages in Florida  this month and she did 2 workshops one of which was a flip book with her "Urban Market" paper collection.
I am not one to follow a set pattern so I took my project home and went to town...it looks NOTHING like the sample Teresa was teaching. My  theme was based  on the Caribbean Journey Scrapbook Cruise I took with Teresa Collins last year.
The papers are wonderful, everything coordinates beautifully...love the glitz, sequins, ribbons etc.
The photos are not in exact order, but you can get an idea of how much fun this was to put together on the white stand.

   **********************************************
It's my Grand daughter's 5th birthday this month and she loves Tinkerbell. This explosion box will surely make her smile. I added, gems, glitter, and lots of sweet words just for her.
I created it with my Silhouette which cut out the box and panels so easily.

I also had the privilege of helping create the theme for my Grand daughter's Pre-K Graduation for 265 people. Below are a few photos of the results. I used my Cricut "Disney Classics" cartridge to cut out the tipping tea cups, the arrows ,the Mad Hatters hats as well as the banner..

Going Around In Circles!

Since I was going around in circles trying to figure out how I wanted to tackle this card sketch from DCWV, I decided to do a Father's Day card for my Husband.
Sketch

I used  DCWV "The Guy Stack" which has such a neat selection of "manly" designs. Since he thinks he is great with the Barbecue, this design for the card was perfect.
I used my Silhouette (loving that machine) to cut out a circular background sized to about 4" on a 6" card. I used more patterns from the collection for the various circles and decided to just stamp one of them with #1.
Hope he likes it and so do you !

Anniversary Bendi Card

My 1st Bendi card and it was so much fun to decorate. I cut the tree,   card, and fence  with my Silhouette. The tree branches are covered in Flower Soft Green (hate working with that stuff)! The fence is glossed , the green grass is fringed and the flowers were ink stamped.
Since the card has so much detail in the front, the writing  is printed on the back.

Wobbling Birthday Card

I recently purchased my 1st.  artimpressionsstamps and I've been having lots of fun with this one!! I think it's a perfect card for some of my friends who don't want to admit their age!
I used Spellbinders circle dot die and lots of black buttons for this challenge. The inside of the card is the best part since the REAR wobbles.

Shaker Box Card

NEWBIE here trying out one of loriwhitlock.com/blog/link-up-party challenges on her blog. I've been busy creating with my new Silhouette and Lori's new release of 3D shaker box cards and embellishments is easy and beautiful.
Photo inspiration
This photo  inspired  me to create a generic card that I will keep in my stash  for an Anniversary, Thank You or whatever. The softness of the photo led me to use  use DCWV "The Lace and Linen Stack". I recently won a stack of 12" x 12" chipboard from My Crafting Channel and was excited to use it.The die cutting with chipboard was incredibly easy and cut like butter.
Lots and lots of pearls, romantic hat pins, and shaker beads in pink hearts and ivory/gold pearls,Martha Stewart Gold glitter,  helped me put it all together.  The image is already sized and repeated so stacking the embellishment was a breeze. It actually measures just under 3" but can be made larger. I kind of like this size since it can go on any type of card with many different pattern papers.
What do you think?????
