My Craft Room 2013

It's been about a year since I posted some photos of my ever changing craft room. It's busting at the seams with all kinds of stuff!!!
I know, I have a BIG room but it just keeps eating more and more stuff....time to put it on a diet! The best part of my room is my Yorkie puppy peaches who is
ALWAYS right there with me.
I will be doing a new video this summer, so you can get a better look at all
the new ideas I've implemented since the 2012 video which was here...
I Hope I can inspire you to get organized and get crafting. I have  several easy peasy ways to organize Spellbinders, Sizzix and so much more.  If you follow my blog, you'll learn all these simple tips.
Thanks Tara for having a craft room Linky Party....they are always so much fun!

Schools Almost Done

It's O- FISH-ial !! My Grand daughter's Pre-school classroom door is now covered thanks to my Cricut and a couple of hours of work. The kids faces were lovingly put on the underwater creatures and the teacher's names as well. The water was also cut from the "On the Beach " cartridge.
I know this may certainly not be the most exceptional project ever, but the kids were all happy with the results.
Just wanted to share.....

Also, I completed a few teacher appreciation gifts
for my other Grand daughter's teacher.

Erase board markers topped with flowers

 filled with manicure set gift

Thanks for stopping by....always appreciate blogger friends!

I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU not...

I am once again excited to share a card design with you on my favorite new monthly challenge blog...
Nana and Migdalia sure know how to make each month exciting!!
I saw this design on a you tube video (can't remember where, there's tons of variations) and decided to give it my own twisted try. I am really happy the way it turned out and I can see it used for many different occasions.
I used a floral double sided paper (recommend this) from K and Company. The daisy flowers are from The Rubber Cafe and a MS punch was used for the daisy tabs on top. The twine is from my new blog candy that  I received. I love the idea of the dropped petals and usually the poem goes..."He loves me, he loves me not". I changed it up a bit since I wanted to use those cute green googly eyes and need it to say "I  (eye) love you,
I (eye) love you... not. The stamp is from CTMH and then I just added the word NOT. I tipped the edges of the flower petals with Quick Quotes Chalk Ink.

PAWS-itively Precious

I am posting today as a guest designer for Craft It Up and Link It Up Linky Party hosted by Tara of Craftin Desert Divas! Every other Monday will mark the beginning of a new semi-weekly linky party and you could win fabulous prizes!!

This Linky party theme is PUNS. The sponsor is Carri-abusybee from doubleclickconnections. The more you link up, the better chance you have to win.  Visit Craftin Desert Divas for all the rules and to play along.

Here is what I created for this linky party....
My neighbor just bought this adorable puppy and I created this explosion box /card for her. I put in doggie  treats and toys  and she has room to place pics of her little cutie on the flaps. My BFF blogger friend from My Crafting Channel helped me pick out the PUN since she knows I love dogs. I think it was PAWS-itively perfect!!

Caution: Scrapbookers Ahead!

If scrap booking is your passion, watch out!!!
There are 2 more little scrap bookers ahead to take your place! My 2 Grand daughters love to use all of my stuff in my craft room and came up with these two "overly" decorated cupcakes. The little one adores foam stickers and the older GD wanted me to enter hers  into a challenge. I guess she knows all about blogs by now!!! LOL
I used some of my new favorite Kiwi Lane designed templates.....still learning! I am crazy about "Crafting Scarlette Digi" from Bugaboo and created the l/o according to the color challenge this week. I must admit, it WAS a challenge to combine all these colors that I probably would NEVER have used! Such fun!!!
NOW, if only Photoshop would let me properly show the color plum that I used for the banner under "AHEAD"! It looks black, but it's NOT!

Thanks for stopping by to see our new Bloggerland  kids at a craft room near you
 REAL SOON!!!!

LOVE Triangle Card

What's not to L O V E  about creating a L O V E card with one of the prettiest digi stamps I have ever won !!!!!
Oak Pond Creations ( etsy.com/shop/OakPondCreations )is the designer of this beautiful digi stamp and it just called out to me to be in bright red roses with black glitter trimmed in silver/red glitter tape.
The card is a criss-cross pocket card with a slide in insert that measures 6" across. My friend came up with this modified card and if you check through my blog posts, you'll see a beautiful pink Princess one for my GD Lila, done with the same pattern @ (scrapmywayhappy-birthday-lila )
The insert was punched with a Martha Stewart heart punch (all around the page design). The red rose paper is from my old stash and the glitter is DCWV from their glitter Glitzy  Stack. One of my favorite embellishments in my stack of stuff is the resin red rose which fit perfectly.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you L O V E this one as much as I do!

REEL Women Fish

Women LOVE to fish.....well at least my Mom did!!!!

Today's date is when  my Mom passed away in 2005 and I decided to create and dedicate this layout to remember how she enjoyed all the simple things in life....like fishing in our old backyard when she came to Florida. My Dad was an amazing fisherman, and although she never went on his fishing/camping trips, she was really good at catching many fish at a  seating. She loved kicking off her shoes, pulling up a patio chair and just going for the fun of it.
I noticed that My Sheri Crafts had a challenge going on about Mom's so I  thought this l/o would be a perfect fit. This is also my very FIRST attempt using Kiwi Lane Designs templates for a lay out. TOTAL FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wanted them so badly, and a dear friend bought them for me for my birthday so I wouldn't have to wait until the Orlando Expo! the sun and clouds are a Sizzix die and the hook and fish are from Silhouette. All the paper is from S.E.I. Blossoms stack.

Thanks so much for sharing  in this meaningful lay out with me. Remember, take time to enjoy the simple things in life !
